This "do-it-yourself" Engine Health Check is designed to help you decide on simple corrective treatments based on the symptoms your engine usually shows .. please see the "Check Table" below.

Some problems can be best treated with more than one product, plus other things, such as making an adjustment or replacing a worn part.

There may be factors contributing to the symptom(s) that are not listed in the "Check Table" below under “Other considerations”, so if you are in doubt please email us (we may take a few days to reply), or contact your engine specialist.

"Check Table" key :

FOC = DeSLUDGE Flushing Oil Concentrate; FTC = catalytic engine decarboniser; fuel additive; SS  = SupaSLIP anti-friction, oil and hydraulic fluid additive.  The more stars (X) the more suitable the product may be to reduce or remedy the cause of the symptom.  Some problems can be best treated with more than one product, plus the use of other things, such as replacing a worn part.
